We can all feel like we're in our own movie, but is yours a fairytale?

Fairytales have been around since forever. Starting as folktales by word of mouth, they were usually about some sort of life lesson. Maybe it was about how to protect yourself as a woman in the world, how to save the princess you want to be with, how to fight something, or maybe it was a life lesson about morals and ethics. The Grimm Brothers were some of the first to really predicate the notions, wording, and poetry around fairytales. When we look at these forest animals, what's the first thing that comes to mind? Maybe you imagine yourself there too, maybe you are transported to the place where the magic takes place.

A green forest, draped in hanging moss, vines, and roses everywhere. Where the trees speak to each other, where a frog talks to you, and when a mushroom is the secret ingredient to the potion you need to make. I always feel like I'm in a fairytale. My whole apartment is covered with books, candles, plants, and draping things that make me feel like it's out of a storybook. I can imagine myself as the princess in my own castle, as the main character of my life. There's something comforting about imagining yourself like a princess because then you give yourself powers, control, and an ethereal beauty. If I'm the princess in my own castle then it means that I have full reign over my kingdom, but it's really full reign and power over my life. That kind of mentality does feel empowering.
